“I’m so happy that these inspiring women wear my cashmeres”

Chandrika Cassali is one of my most exotic friends. Born in London of British and Indian extremely artistic parents, she enchants me with her stories of regular visits from the Beatles to her childhood home.
After an extraordinary international modelling career, working for some of the greatest, Chandrika settled in Paris to bring up her three children. Having studied at the Sorbonne, she taught English, then proceeded to travel to India, China and South Africa representing the Ministry of Education to promote French technical education and know-how. Most recently, before deciding to take more time to travel and concentrate on her passion for writing, she was a very popular English teacher at the Duperré School of Art and Design.
Apart from all her professional skills Chandrika is a wonderful mum, wife and the warmest of friends.

I'm fascinated by the beauty, fragility and minuscule details of Karine Rougier's poetic art which is inspired by journeys, myths and sacred rites. Karine plunges into materials as she dives into the sea. Taking inspiration from the underwater world, she plays with texture, creating abstract backdrops where reality and dreams, flora and fauna, stars and stones levitate - suspended in time.
Born in Malta, she spent her childhood on the Ivory Coast before studying at Les Arts Décoratifs in Geneva and L’Ecole Supérieure d’Arts in Aix en Provence.
In 2018 Karine relocated to Marseille where she divides her time between drawing and painting in her atelier and teaching at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. Her work is presented in many public and private collections throughout Europe and she was recently awarded the Drawing Now 2022 prize.

Marie-Eve Carle’s positive energy is like a breath of fresh air. A true Parisian who gained experience as PR at Guerlain before switching to a theatrical career. As a natural comedian, Marie-Eve has become a trainer in theatrical improvisation, management of emotions and conflicts in companies and amongst hospital staff. She also adds a note of humour to a IDFM Radio programme (98.0).

Parisian by birth, Venetian by marriage of over 20 years, Servane Giol, knows Venice and its inhabitants like no-one else. Among other missions and passions - she’s a theatrical actress and has the role of ambassador for several institutions - she is in charge of cultural affairs for the Alliance Française of Venice.
Servane has recently published ‘Soul of Venice’ (silver medal at the 2021 IP Awards) while her latest work ‘Invitation Privée - Venise’ was issued in France in September 2022. She has also contributed to the Louis Vuitton ‘Venice City Guide’.

I so admire Emma Sawko who gets up every morning, with determination, has a coffee, a shower and continues her battle to change the world. She’s co-founder of the best vegan restaurants in Paris, « Wild and the Moon » where the most delicious food is 100% plant-based, organic, seasonal and locally produced. There are already nine restaurants in Paris, two in Amsterdam, not to mention two in Dubai where she also co-founded the city’s first concept store « Comptoir 102 ».
It warms my heart to see Emma’s passion for a healthier way of living which she inherited from her mother, my great friend, Carole Sechaud. Years ago when eating healthy wasn’t in vogue, Carole insisted that we revert to a macrobiotic diet while our husbands only wanted to eat saucisson!

Siena Canales is anything but just a model ! She grew up in the golden wine country hills of Sonoma County, California. A recent graduate from Columbia University’s MFA program, she wrote a graphic non-fiction thesis of personal essays about the role of imagination in mental health.
Siena currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, working as a freelance writer and copy writer and hopes to one day publish a book of her graphic essays. She enjoys word games and moral philosophy and improvising a new dish in the kitchen, although she is not the most skilled cook. And she loves to read the old journals and letters of writers.
Lovely Rosie Green, an award winning journalist, is so full of energy and enthusiasm. She turned her heartbreaks into everything positive, becoming a midlife dating/marriage columnist and a successful author of 'How to Heal a Broken Heart'. She's worked and written for numerous British publications and has recently taken up the position of Associate Beauty Editor of You Magazine. Rosie grew up in Birmingham and now lives in Oxfordshire with her two children.

Beautiful Carole is my dearest friend who has always been there for me at every important moment of my life. She’s one of the most dynamic people I know and is the best of mothers to Emma @emmasawko of @wildandthemoon and Virginie @realholistic_nutrition
Mathilde Favier, born and bred in the city, is my idea of the true Parisian. She dazzles everyone with her smile. In spite of her heavy responsibilities at Christian Dior as global public relations manager in charge of celebrities and actresses, she finds time for all her friends and is known as the most elegant hostess with the mostest.
Vanessa Seward was born in Argentina, and brought up in London, before settling in Paris. She has developed a unique sense of elegance and style during her long career at many of the main fashion houses in Paris.
